While there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, regular inspections are essential to protect your home from termites, rodents, and other costly invaders.

Recommended Frequency for Pest Services

Residential Homes

  • General Pest Service: Every 6-12 months
  • Termite Inspection (AS 3660.2): Every 6-12 months
  • More frequent if your property is:
    • In a high-risk termite zone (like coastal areas or older timber homes)
    • Surrounded by bushland or near water
    • Showing signs of dampness or poor ventilation

Commercial Premises

  • Monthly or quarterly is best, especially for:
    • Food businesses (cafés, restaurants, pubs)
    • Childcare centres and schools
    • Retail spaces or warehouses

Pre-Purchase Inspections
